ABOUT THE ROLE 

As a Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing salary data, job descriptions, and market trends to develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that compensation practices are fair, consistent, and compliant with legal regulations. Additionally, you will provide recommendations to management on compensation strategies to attract, retain, and motivate employees.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

Salary Range: $75,000–$90,000, depending on experience, with bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Assist in conducting compensation benchmarking studies to analyze salary data and market trends
  • Evaluate job descriptions and conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate salary grades and pay ranges
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and Total Rewards programs
  • Analyze existing compensation data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, recruiters, and hiring managers to ensure consistent and fair compensation practices
  • Participate in salary surveys and maintain up-to-date knowledge of compensation trends and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits
  • Support annual salary planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and merit increase recommendations
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze existing processes, such as FLSA classification review, pay changes, and position changes 
  • Streamline compensation processes through operational and system enhancements via ADP and other internal systems
  • Assist in bonus design, benchmarking, administration and communications

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Previous experience in compensation analysis or related HR field required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
  • Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus
  • Familiarity with Workday and compensation management software is preferred
