BASE SALARY: $75,000 to $90,000 per year
MUST HAVE- 3–5 years of experience in financial services compliance, marketing compliance, or a regulated advertising environment
- Hands-on experience with credit card and/or banking compliance standards
- Proven ability to interpret regulatory guidance (FTC, CFPB, UDAAP concepts) and translate requirements into operational direction
- Experience working cross-functionally with Content, Paid Acquisition, and Account teams
- Strong written judgment with the ability to communicate risk clearly and decisively
EXPERIENCE: 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing compliance within financial services, credit card, banking, or regulated marketing environments.
YOUR ROLEOwn and operationalize compliance for Launch Potato’s credit card and banking products by interpreting regulatory and partner requirements, guiding cross-functional teams, and proactively mitigating risk while enabling business growth.
OUTCOMES- Proactive Risk Identification: Identify and resolve compliance risks internally before they are surfaced by partners, reducing external escalations and audit findings.
- Partner Compliance Leadership: Serve as the primary compliance contact for credit card and banking partners, ensuring audits, reviews, and inquiries are handled efficiently and with minimal friction.
- Regulatory Interpretation & Guidance: Translate FTC, CFPB, UDAAP, and partner-specific guidance into clear, actionable direction for Content, Paid Acquisition, and Account teams.
- Operational Compliance Systems: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve compliance documentation, SOPs, and internal playbooks to create scalable and consistent review standards.
- Cross-Functional Enablement: Provide clear timelines, urgency, and remediation guidance to ensure compliance-driven updates are implemented accurately and on schedule.
- Training & Awareness: Build and deliver compliance training that increases internal understanding of risk, escalation protocols, and partner expectations.
- Regulatory Judgment: Exercises strong decision-making when balancing regulatory risk with business objectives, escalating appropriately when required.
- Ownership & Accountability: Takes full responsibility for day-to-day compliance management and issue resolution within assigned product lines.
- Clear & Decisive Communication: Explains complex compliance requirements in a way that drives action and alignment across teams.
- Process Discipline: Builds structured documentation and repeatable workflows that reduce ambiguity and operational risk.
- Collaborative Influence: Partners effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to align on expectations and outcomes.
- Bias for Prevention: Focuses on identifying issues early through monitoring and audits rather than reacting after escalation.
TOTAL COMPENSATION
Base salary is set according to market rates for the nearest major metro and varies based on Launch Potato’s Levels Framework. Your compensation package includes a base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits. Launch Potato is a performance-driven company, which means once you are hired, future increases will be based on company and personal performance, not annual cost of living adjustments.
