Position: Configuration Analyst

FT/PT Status: Full-Time

Location: Remote

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Overview:
Kreative Technologies is looking for a Configuration Analyst to track and control changes to software, systems and documentation. You will keep configuration records accurate so teams always know what is deployed and where.

The ideal candidate is careful, organized and process-minded. You should be comfortable maintaining detailed records and following established procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains configuration items, baselines and version records for software and documentation.
  • Manages source code repositories, branches and builds.
  • Tracks change requests and records their status through approval and release.
  • Supports release and deployment activities.
  • Prepares configuration status reports and supports audits.
  • Follows and helps improve configuration management procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of configuration management, release or build experience.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git, Subversion or ClearCase.
  • Familiarity with change management and release processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Continually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience supporting federal government contracts.

Compensation: $52,893 – $58,770 per year
