The Hackett Group is looking for a skilled professional to join our Application Managed Support Team with functional expertise in the area of HCM Consultant. Light technical skills are highly desirable but not necessarily required. 

Oracle Cloud Functional HCM Consultant Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provide subject matter expertise in Oracle Cloud Applications 

  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, problem-solving/debugging skills 

  • Communicate highly technical concepts verbally and in writing 

  • Manage assigned work tickets based on priority  

  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously  

  • Oracle SR management including escalations 

  • Dedication to growing module knowledge and delivering new solutions  

  • Develop strong rapport and gain trust of client base 

  • Guide and mentor clients on usability of Oracle HCM Cloud 

  • Research and analyze existing systems and processes; identifying data and process flows and integration points; articulate modification risks and barriers; recommending project approaches 

  • Conduct gap analysis between delivered functionality and client requirements and recommend solutions 

  • Develop testing scenarios, test scripts and lead unit, integration, and user acceptance testing 

  • Provide technical resolution including; functional review of integrations, data mapping, data analysis 

  • Coordinate with other colleagues globally, fostering a collaborative work environment 

  • Follow Hackett methodology – and observe any client specific variations in methodology 


Oracle Cloud Functional HCM Consultant Job Requirements/Preferences: 

  • Experience configuring, implementing and troubleshooting Oracle Talent Management Cloud  2 or More Preferred 

  • Recruiting  

  • Performance and Goal Management  

  • Career and Succession 

  • Learning 

  • Experience configuring, implementing and troubleshooting Oracle Workforce Compensation Preferred 

  • Experience in problem solving/debugging and analysis 

  • Consulting experience 

  • Light technical skillsets for report writing (ie SQL or OTBI development) Preferred 

  • Ability to create or modify Fast Formulas Preferred 

  • Experience with any other HCM modules  Helpful 

  • Impeccable communication and follow-up 

  • Adapt to new projects or new concepts quickly with a can-do, jump-right-in attitude 

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, estimate time for tasks, manage workload to ensure timelines are met   

  • HR business experience Helpful
