Closinglock was founded in 2017 by Andy White, CEO, and his wife, Abigail White. The company is headquartered in Austin, TX, with an office in downtown Austin. Today the company has grown to 35+ employees across product & engineering, sales, partnerships, customer success, marketing, and finance.

The Content Marketer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing content marketing strategies that enhance our online presence and drive traffic to our website. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with excellent writing skills and a deep understanding of digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging content for various platforms including blog posts, white papers, case studies, social media, email campaigns, and website copy.
Content Strategy: Design and execute a content marketing strategy aligned with business goals and objectives. Identify key content themes and opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings. Conduct keyword research and optimize content to drive traffic and engagement.
Social Media Management: Create and manage social media content across all channels. Develop strategies to grow our social media presence and engage with our audience.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools. Provide regular reports on key metrics and use insights to refine content strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, sales team, and other stakeholders to ensure content aligns with overall marketing campaigns and goals. Collaborate with external writers and agencies as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in the real estate, fintech or technology industry.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Experience with social media platforms and management tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.

This is a full-time, in-person position in our Austin, TX office.

Gacke is always learning from her teammates, who she describes as fun, diligent, collaborative and hard-working. There’s already a foundation of trust among colleagues, which bolsters flexibility and work-life balance. They’re building on that foundation, too. “We’re young and constantly growing; anyone who has an idea can raise their hand and execute it themselves or with a team,” Gacke said. Those ideas run the gamut from organizing events or adding a new snack to the kitchen to making the office space more inviting.

Engineers shape the mission to achieve it

Richard’s team works toward eliminating real estate wire fraud. To accomplish that lofty goal, they might develop a new feature to simplify the user experience or delve into technical aspects of network security to maintain company security standards. “There’s an energy and exchange of ideas that I haven’t felt anywhere else,” Richard said. “Engineers connect with all areas of the business. They develop an understanding of how a business grows and the best ways to contribute to that growth as an engineer, besides lines of code written.”

I wear many hats, but the one I'm most proud of is building an engineering team focused on personal growth, good code, and an empowering environment.
