Summary

We’re looking for a creative Content Marketing Specialist who can craft compelling content that attracts new agents, supports onboarding, and drives ongoing engagement across the insurance community. This role will focus on developing targeted content that supports NCD’s strategic agent growth initiatives—including recruiting, onboarding, activation, and retention. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales to create content for campaigns that educate, engage, and convert agents throughout their lifecycle. If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, execution, and storytelling—and have a deep understanding of the insurance landscape—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and manage content for the agent lifecycle journey (welcome campaigns, training promos, re-engagement messaging, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to develop agent-facing communications for outbound campaigns.
  • Craft enablement content that aligns with strategic goals—scripts, guides, FAQ sheets, webinars, etc.
  • Optimize content for clarity, engagement, and alignment to channel best practices (email, SMS, in-platform messaging).
  • Maintain NCD’s brand voice while tailoring tone for different agent personas (call centers, digital agencies, field brokers).
  • Track content performance metrics to guide future strategy and reporting.
  • Stay current on industry trends, agent feedback, and competitive content strategies.
  • Support broader campaign initiatives by writing landing pages, headlines, internal tooltips, and other content as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of content marketing, communications, or enablement writing experience in the insurance, healthcare, or other related fields.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience creating high-impact B2B communications, ideally within an agent/broker-driven sales model.
  • Ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Familiarity with email campaign tools, CRM platforms, and performance tracking software.
  • Deep understanding of agent sales behavior and insurance industry dynamics (strongly preferred).

NCD Benefits

  • Company-paid health, dental, life, and disability insurance.
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Opportunities for professional development.
  • Work-from-home allowance and support.
  • A collaborative and high-performance work environment.
