About the Role

Abnormal AI is looking for a Content Strategist to join our Content Marketing team and help connect messaging to activation across the business. This role sits at the intersection of campaign strategy, content development, and amplification: you’ll partner with Integrated Marketing and Content Marketing leadership to support campaign messaging, contribute to downstream execution, and help ensure content across channels is cohesive and ready for market.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who is excited to operate in an AI-native environment. You’ll help take raw inputs — including research, customer stories, webinars, and internal materials — and turn them into activation-ready content and derivative assets using modern tools and workflows.

You’ll work across Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Social, Editorial, Brand/Creative, and other stakeholders to help Abnormal move faster and get more value from the content we create.

What you will do
  • Partner with Integrated Marketing and Content Marketing leadership to support campaign messaging and downstream execution
  • Contribute to campaign execution across priority initiatives, helping maintain consistency as messaging is translated into emails, landing pages, social copy, webinars, and other assets
  • Build familiarity with the company’s campaigns and messaging, and help help maintain alignment with campaign messaging across outputs
  • Review and adapt content across formats to support repackaging and downstream use
  • Translate raw inputs — including research, customer stories, internal podcasts, webinars, threat reports, and internal conversations — into activation-ready content and narrative outputs
  • Identify opportunities to extend the value of existing content by creating derivative assets (e.g., summaries, slides, clips, videos, or industry-specific cutdowns)
  • Help turn existing content and moments into amplification opportunities, including web experiences, campaign packages, contributed content, podcast pitches, and other distribution plays
  • Use AI-assisted workflows to accelerate ideation, distillation, repackaging, and content transformation, while applying editorial judgment to refine outputs
  • Contribute to building lightweight workflows for slicing, packaging, and distributing content more efficiently across channels
  • Operate as a flexible generalist, contributing across a range of content and campaign needs with guidance from Content Marketing leadership
Must Haves
  • 2–4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, content marketing, or related roles
  • Strong writing and editing fundamentals, with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear and concise content
  • Experience or strong interest in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to create, transform, or repurpose content
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment
  • Willingness to learn, iterate quickly, and adapt to new tools and workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and a bias toward action
  • Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
Nice to Haves
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing or campaign-based work
  • Familiarity with content operations tools (Asana, CMS platforms)
  • Experience creating derivative content formats (e.g., clips, summaries, presentations, or multimedia assets)
  • Background in cybersecurity, SaaS, or highly technical products
  • Experience working in high-growth or fast-changing environments
