We’re solving one of the most complex, unsolved challenges in AI: bringing trust, accuracy, and security to legal automation.

We’re a team of builders, operators, and problem-solvers who are passionate about reshaping an industry that has long been resistant to change. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be challenged, take ownership from day one, and work alongside some of the brightest minds in AI and legal —we’d love to meet you.

About the Role:

We are building a modern legal operation powered by AI and technology-first workflows. We are hiring a Commercial Contracts Attorney to support high-volume contracting across a growing commercial client base. This role is designed for an attorney who is comfortable operating at the intersection of law, technology, and product.

You will own day-to-day contract execution while actively partnering with product and engineering teams to improve tooling, workflows, and legal delivery at scale. This is a hands-on startup role where speed, adaptability, and ownership matter. You will not just review contracts - you will help shape how legal work is done.

This role offers direct exposure to senior legal leadership, meaningful influence over product development, and the opportunity to help define AI-enabled legal operations from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Contract Execution

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including:
    • Vendor and supplier agreements
    • SaaS, DPAs and technology agreements
    • Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work
    • NDAs
    • Real estate and construction-related agreements
  • Use proprietary legal technology to manage high contract volume with speed and consistency
  • Identify legal risk and deliver practical, business-aligned recommendations
  • Maintain quality and turnaround performance in a fast-moving environment

AI Enablement and Legal Operations

  • Actively use AI tools in daily contract review and workflow execution
  • Identify high-impact opportunities where AI can improve speed, accuracy, and scale
  • Develop strong prompting practices and continuously test and iterate on AI workflows
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to improve platform performance

Qualifications:
  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active US bar license in good standing
  • Arizona bar admission strongly preferred
  • 3 to 10 years of commercial contracting experience
  • Experience working with AI tools and legal technology platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

Startup Mindset and Culture Fit

We are looking for someone who:

  • Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Takes ownership and operates independently
  • Is pragmatic and solution-oriented
  • Enjoys building systems, not just executing tasks
  • Communicates clearly and directly across teams

Why You’ll Love Working Here:
  • Impactful Work: Be part of a team that’s at the forefront of AI innovation.
  • Growth Opportunities: Work in an environment that encourages professional growth and the exploration of new ideas.
  • Dynamic Culture: Join a group of passionate, driven individuals who are committed to making a difference.
  • Legal AI tech is a lot of fun
  • Get hands-on experience supporting major enterprise clients across industries
  • Be a key player in the AI transformation of the legal industry
  • Work amongst dedicated and dynamic startup focused people

If you’re ready to take on the challenge and make an impact in a rapidly evolving industry, we want to hear from you!
