About the Contract

We are looking for a Contract Minecraft Blockbuster Animator to partner with our Marketing team to help produce original YouTube Shorts and intros for our Aphmau YouTube channel. Working closely with our Marketing and Production teams this role uses McHorse's Blockbuster and Aperture mods to brings scripted short-form stories to life using provided assets.


Supporting one of YouTube’s largest gaming channels, this contract is part of a fast-paced content pipeline and ideal for collaborative creators with understanding of modern content creation and high-quality production with consideration to deadlines. A 3D Animation reel must be included for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Animate Minecraft YouTube Shorts and Intros using McHorse’s Blockbuster and Aperture Mods
  • Create character movements and performances for characters and mobs based on provided scripts
  • Ensure assets and messaging align with release schedules
  • Familiarity with Minecraft mods and tools used in content creation
  • Edit and deliver content using basic Premiere Pro workflows
  • Iterate quickly based on team feedback while meeting production deadlines

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Minecraft
  • Experience creating short-form video content (YouTube Shorts/TikTok/Reels)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and within small teams
  • Ability to iterate quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Comfortable working from scripts and production briefs
  • Passion for creating family-friendly entertainment
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with McHorse’s Blockbuster and Aperture Mods
  • Knowledge of YouTube gaming trends
  • Experience with character-driven storytelling or skit content
  • Strong time management skills
