Contract Specialist, Enterprise and Procurement Services

We are seeking a Contract Specialist to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. What You’ll Do 

Under the direction of the Sr. Legal & Contracts Associate, the Contract Specialist is responsible for providing the Enterprise & Procurement Services (“EPS”) department with a wide range of support, including but not limited to, contract drafting and negotiation, contract administrative lifecycle management, policy and contract compliance, document collection, risk management, information governance, customer service, and other related tasks.  The incumbent will work closely with the organization’s Legal Operations and Contracts departments to ensure alignment.

  •  Support the contract portfolio lifecycle by drafting contract modifications, extensions, amendments, notices, and preliminary agreement documents, and ensuring supplier provisions comply with the FoundationCCC Contracts Policy, the EPS Procurement & Contracting Policy, and Legal Department guidance.

  •  Provide general administrative and contract support, including proofreading and formatting documents; organizing contract and legal files; filing; preparing correspondence and mailings; scheduling appointments; and other related tasks as required.

  •  Collaborate with Operations and Business Systems teams to establish data entry standards, incorporate data retention requirements, maintain high data quality, optimize Salesforce reporting capabilities, and identify opportunities for improvement

Attributes for Success   

  •  Relevant BA/BS, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both, advanced degree or certification preferred

  •  Minimum of four (3) + years of progressive related work experience preferred. 

  • Minimum of two (2) + years of experience in an education or non-profit environment preferred.

  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and proactively; anticipate problems, analyze situations, develop effective solutions and communicate clearly throughout that process.

Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range:

$65,000.00 - $70,000.00

Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
