Job Description

We are working with a rapidly growing healthcare company in Dallas to find the perfect candidate for their new Controller position. This candidate will build their own team to ultimately maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. This is unique opportunity to work directly with, and report directly to, a great team of innovative executives. Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications Required

• 10+ years combined relevant accounting or finance experience in one or more of the following industries in order of preference: Toxicology, Biotechnology or other lab experience, Medical or Healthcare, Rapidly growing business or Public Accounting background.

• Financial acumen is an extremely high priority - candidate must be willing and able to dive directly into the numbers, at least initially. Finance and accounting team will start out small so candidate must be able to dig in, as well as supervise.

Skills and Qualifications Preferred (In addition to above)

• Quickbooks, SAP, and PeopleSoft Experience

• CPA or Master's Degree

• Proven record of leading a Finance/Accounting team through rapid growth
