Dealer.com, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently looking for a Copywriter to join our team! This is a remote position, and the selected candidate can work from anywhere in the United States.
The Copywriter creates informative content via writing and AI generation on relevant automotive industry topics for landing pages and blogs for dealership websites.
This position is remote/work from home and can be located anywhere within the United States.
Your Role:
  • Researches automotive news, information, and trends using online research techniques
  • Develops engaging and persuasive content by working with internal client focused teams to understand the concepts that the client(s) want to portray
  • Writes and/or generates (with in-house AI tool) multiple unique pieces of content daily while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Proofreads work to ensure proper spelling and grammatically correct quality of all authored content
  • Reviews all content to be compliant with standards specified by automotive OEM (original equipment manufacturers) against a database of OEM brand standards
  • Edits content from in-house AI generation source for quality assurance and uniqueness
  • Publishes completed and proofread content to client dealership websites

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field; OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year experience; OR 5 years' experience in a related field
  • Experience with tight deadlines and a daily content goal
  • Experience with, and/or portfolio of material to demonstrate writing fluently and accurately for various purposes
  • Excellent command of the English language and a good knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Genuine interest in clients products and services, automotive industry and dealership focused
  • Ability to write in varying styles and assume different tones according client needs
  • Strong research skills

What We Look For (Preferred):
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism or Communications
  • Experience working with automotive industry content
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence effective prompt creation

USD 20.10 - 30.10 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $20.10 - $30.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
