  • Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Communications, Sales, subject-matter experts, and other stakeholders to develop effective messaging and content.
  • Work within established brand voice, messaging, and editorial standards while bringing fresh thinking and strong writing craft to each assignment.
  • Manage multiple assignments against established priorities and deadlines, communicating proactively about bandwidth, competing demands, and timing risks.
  • Incorporate feedback and editorial direction thoughtfully and efficiently to meet project objectives and brand standards.
  • Use generative AI responsibly to accelerate ideation, drafting, and refinement, and develop and optimize prompts and AI-enabled workflows that support accurate, compelling, on-brand content.
  • Apply SEO, AEO, and other content best practices where appropriate and use available performance insights to strengthen future content.
  • Review content through final production to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Contribute to other marketing communications projects and priorities as needed.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in copywriting, content marketing, marketing communications, or a related role, with copywriting as a significant focus.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong professional copywriting across multiple formats and channels, including short- and long-form work.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong command of voice, tone, grammar, and structure.
  • Marketing experience and an understanding of how content supports audience, campaign, and business objectives.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and turn input from multiple sources into clear, compelling messaging.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to receive and apply feedback and editorial direction.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Practical experience using generative AI tools to support content development and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Comfortable maintaining regular overlap with Eastern Time business hours for meetings and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing for both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Familiarity with marketing KPIs, lead generation, conversion, ROI, or other digital marketing concepts.
  • Experience with complex, technical, education, credentialing, or other information-rich subject matter.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, Adobe Creative Cloud, or video production.
