Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of the Bank’s strategic initiatives around corporate development, M&A, strategic finance and capital initiatives
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the different teams in the Finance organization to develop materials supporting strategic initiatives
  • Analyze potential corporate development opportunities (e.g. by providing strategic due diligence, financial statement analyses, financial modeling, and returns analyses)

  • Conduct research into key market, investor, and industry trends, and develop insightful discussion materials for senior leaders and the Board of Directors
  • Provide guidance to senior leaders on implications of competitive actions of peer banks, drivers of stock price and market valuations, and capital markets
  • Lead aspects of our quarterly earnings conference calls, including collaborating on the creation and external distribution of financial press releases, presentations, call scripts, internal materials, and investor Q&A
  • Support responding to inquiries and information requests from investors, sell-side analysts, and other stakeholders

  • Support organization of investor events, including conferences, roadshows, and investor meetings, and coordinate logistics associated with these events
  • Gather and analyze sell-side estimates and maintain a consensus model
  • Conduct and document complex ad hoc financial analysis projects

  • Update data from multiple sources on a regular basis to provide information to management to make strategic business decisions
  • Develop clear, concise written summations of complex analytical work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related fields; 0 - 3 years of experience
  • Beginner knowledge of banking, including understanding of bank products, services, and regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and organization skills
  • MS Office proficiency required
