Coho Construction Management is seeking an experienced Cost Engineer. This remote role requires travel and will support cost estimating and analysis activities to evaluate project budgets, change proposals, and cost impacts.
This is a part-time on-call position. It's an estimated 200 hours of work within six months.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Prepare or review cost estimates and quantity takeoffs.
- Review contractor cost proposals and change orders.
- Support cost tracking and budget analysis.
- Assist with cost risk and escalation assessments.
- Provide cost-related input to project leadership.
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Required Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of cost estimating or cost engineering experience.
- Skills and Abilities
- Certification (AACE or similar) preferred.
