Job Summary:

This position will have previous experience as a courier/driver.  Environment is fast paced.  Must enjoy working with and helping people.  The Courier (driver) will pick up clients and taking them to appointments, picking up and dropping off documents to/from the court house, running errands as needed to accommodate staff work load. Company vehicle is provided.  Courier will drive in surrounding area with trips between San Antonio and Christi and other areas as needed. 
 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Walk between buildings or drive vehicles in order to reach destinations to deliver clients, documents or other business.
  • Load vehicles correctly and taking precautions as necessary.
  • Unload vehicles and tend to firm tasks along delivery routes.
  • Receive messages or materials to be delivered, and information on recipients, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, and delivery instructions, communicated via firm device or in person.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes.
  • Track and record information in accordance with firm procedures. 
  • Check in with home office after completed runs, in order to confirm tasks and to receive instructions for other duties.
  • Perform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles, such as monitoring fluid levels, general upkeep and cleanliness, and replenishing fuel.
