As Vice President, Group Creative Director, you'll lead creative initiatives, develop impactful marketing strategies, mentor teams, and represent Hagerty at the executive level while ensuring cohesive brand expression.

The Company:
Marigold is a fast-growing marketing technology company helping growing businesses build stronger customer relationships through its three core platforms: Emma, Campaign Monitor, and Vuture. We deliver powerful tools for email, SMS, and marketing automation that elevate engagement and drive real results. Marigold is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee with offices in Sydney and London.

The Role:
We’re seeking a hands-on Creative Director to own and evolve Marigold’s visual brand identity across our three product platforms. Reporting to Thurman Sneed, this role will define the strategic creative vision while remaining deeply involved in execution.

You’ll work in design tools daily while collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Sales, and executive leadership. This role balances brand strategy, creative direction, and operational ownership of external creative resources. It’s an excellent opportunity for a Senior Designer ready to step into a Creative Director role, or someone who has recently made that transition and is eager to build and scale a cohesive, multi-product brand system.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and evolve Marigold’s visual brand identity system, including brand strategy, design system documentation, guidelines, components, and standards to ensure consistency across products and customer touchpoints.

  • Set creative strategy and direction while personally producing high-impact assets including digital advertising campaigns, website design and updates, email campaigns, sales presentations, social content, and event materials.

  • Partner with Marketing and Product leadership to translate business objectives and product growth initiatives into compelling, measurable creative campaigns.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX leaders to establish and maintain product UI brand standards, ensuring cohesive visual identity across software experiences.

  • Vet, hire, brief, and manage external creative contractors and agencies, including scope definition, timeline management, budget oversight, and quality control.

  • Present creative concepts and strategic rationale to executive stakeholders, providing creative leadership across cross-functional teams while balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.

About You:
You are a strategic creative thinker who thrives at the intersection of vision and execution. You enjoy building scalable systems, elevating brand presence, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. You are comfortable operating autonomously in a remote environment and know how to translate business goals into powerful visual storytelling.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 6–8+ years of progressive design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating both brand strategy and exceptional execution across digital products and marketing.

  • Experience working within software or technology brands, including building scalable design systems that support multiple products and mediums.

  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern design tools.

  • Proven experience managing external creative vendors, contractors, or agencies, including vetting talent, negotiating scopes, managing budgets, and ensuring quality delivery.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements and marketing objectives into scalable, impactful creative solutions.

  • Strong communication and executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and present creative work to leadership.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting product-led growth and sales-led marketing environments.

  • Background in SaaS or multi-product brand ecosystems.

  • Experience developing UI brand standards in close partnership with Product teams.
