About You

You are a technical, AI-native growth operator who sees marketing as a system to be engineered, not a collection of campaigns.

You thrive at the intersection of growth, data science, generative AI, systems thinking, experimentation, and product intuition. You don't just use a marketing stack — you architect and code intelligent workflows, statistical reasoning feedback loops (we're happy to teach this), and AI-assisted systems that compound over time.

You also have heart for building a brand that is generous and trustworthy. You also bring strong narrative judgment & technical empathy. You naturally recognize the difference between high-converting positioning and hollow clickbait. You possess the creative taste required to evaluate copy for tone, depth, and accuracy, ensuring our communication always aligns with the actual information bandwidth and maturity of the prospect inside the funnel.

You are excited by questions like:

  • How do we reach the people we can help with our product and build trust with them?

  • What went wrong in the last couple days of data?

  • What just went right in the last couple days of data?

  • What should we do next?

  • What have we been doing that can be automated? How do we decide what tools to build, and which to buy? How do we dramatically increase experimentation velocity? How/when do we use Product Genius’ own technology within our marketing stack?

  • How do we build authentic, trustworthy growth rather than shallow optimization?

  • Based on what we are learning, how should we be shaping our marketing creative?

  • How do we create relationships with our prospect and customer communities at scale?

You bring a builder, data scientist, and artistic mindset. You have previously coded and understand what good Python code looks like. You can move fluidly between strategy and execution. You probably think the future of how companies connect with their customers will look radically different from today's, and you want to help invent it.

About Us

Product Genius is pioneering Large Interaction Models — bringing the power of generative AI to applications requiring real-time adaptation on limited training sets. In eCommerce, we create "thinking websites" that personalize the shopping journey in real time, driving documented revenue lifts of 30%+.

Engineering is our DNA. We apply that same rigor to our go-to-market systems. We believe data matters, experimentation matters, proof matters, and authentic customer value creates durable businesses.

About the Role

As our Marketing Engineer, you will own the architecture and execution of our AI-native demand generation engine — working directly with leadership and engineering to design a continuously learning awareness-to-trial pipeline powered by AI agents, workflow automation, experimentation systems, enrichment pipelines, and GTM infrastructure.

This is a foundational role with enormous leverage and career upside.

What You'll Do

  • Architect the growth system — Design end-to-end growth infrastructure integrating referral, paid, outbound, social, CRM, and product signals into a cohesive, continuously improving system.

  • Build AI-assisted workflows — Automate lead enrichment, segmentation, outbound sequencing, content generation, performance analysis, and workflow orchestration using tools like Clay, Apollo, and custom automations.

  • Event Infrastructure Engineering — Treat industry conferences (ShopTalk, NRF) as programmatic data triggers. Build the automated scraper, enrichment, and outreach systems that capture high-intent accounts before, during, and after physical deployments.

  • Manage an AI agent workforce — Design agents that handle data acquisition, enrichment, content transformation, research, and campaign execution.

  • Drive demand generation — Own performance across paid and outbound channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, email, partnerships). Build high-intent pipeline and drive awareness-to-trial conversion.

  • Treat growth like a product — Instrument the full funnel. Measure CAC, conversion, and pipeline quality. Use experimentation to isolate variables and improve system performance.

  • Build feedback loops — Connect prospect/customer behavior, campaign performance, CRM activity, and revenue outcomes into actionable intelligence using an AI-first systems approach.

  • Collaborate with sales — Optimize lead scoring, prioritization, handoff systems, and sales enablement workflows.

  • Engineer content systems — Transform organizational knowledge, CRM data, and sales conversations into high-performing ads, outbound messaging, landing pages, and email sequences.

  • Drive the creation and testing of marketing creative — Build tools and relationships for content creation, identify new messages, positioning, and ways of communicating visually.

  • Identify and execute additional marketing channels

  • Build relationship-driven distribution — Develop the channels that resist automation: influencer and creator relationships, agency and ecosystem partnerships, and community presence. Turn happy customers into references and advocates that compound awareness over time.

  • Set the editorial bar — Own the judgment layer on top of the content systems. Make sure ads, landing pages, outbound, and posts carry voice, story, and a clear reason for the audience to care, not just volume.

What You'll Bring

  • Systems thinking — you reason in data science, workflows, feedback loops, and compounding advantages

  • Technical fluency with APIs and coding (ex Python), workflow automation, AI tooling,

  • Comfort vibe-coding and manually reviewing n8n.io workflows, scripts, data science and dashboards, and systems in Python or JavaScript

  • Deep analytical rigor — you build systems that generate insight, not just dashboards

  • Experimentation mindset — you form hypotheses quickly, test rigorously, and update based on evidence

  • AI fluency — you already use AI heavily and constantly look for leverage

  • Comfort without a playbook — you operate from first principles in ambiguity, scope the messy problem yourself, and ship a working version before the path is obvious.

  • Relationship building in the market — you grow the channels that don't automate: influencer and creator relationships, agency and ecosystem partnerships, community, and customer advocacy.

  • Design and editorial taste — you may not draw the infographic, but you know high-converting positioning from hollow clickbait, and you match narrative depth to the prospect's stage in the funnel.

No specific degree required. Demonstrated ability to build systems, drive growth, and learn quickly matters more.

Nice to have:

  • CRM architecture, and modern GTM infrastructure (Clay, Apollo, HubSpot, or similar strongly preferred)

  • Experience working with major Ads / Social platforms (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc)

  • Shopify and ecommerce ecosystem fluency (agencies, partners, community)

  • 3+ years in B2B demand generation, growth engineering, RevOps.

  • Product-led growth experience.
