ABOUT US

AI Acquisition is a $50M+ ARR education business teaching entrepreneurs how to build AI-powered service businesses. ~3,000 active clients across three program tiers. Backed by some of the best operators in the coaching and performance-marketing space. Remote, scaling fast, and extremely execution-heavy.

THE WORK

You’ll help shape the ideas behind the ads for a $50M ARR AI-education business running multiple active funnels, with more launching. This is a direct-response strategy seat inside a performance-marketing machine.

You are not here to make content calendars.
You are not here to “find the brand voice.”
You are not here to pitch vague campaign themes that sound smart but don’t convert.

You are here to generate sharp, testable ad angles, hooks, concepts, and positioning ideas that make paid campaigns stronger.

This role sits next to our incoming Head of Media / Creative Director and our direct-response copywriters.

They will own production and final script execution.
You will own the strategic thinking that feeds them:

  • Hooks
  • Angles
  • Big ideas
  • Mechanisms
  • Offer framings
  • Positioning tests
  • Concept directions
  • Creative briefs

If you need six weeks and a mood board to come up with one idea, this is not your role. If you can turn messy customer pain, market noise, and funnel gaps into testable concepts fast, keep reading.

RequirementsHOW WE WORK
  • Volume + iteration > one “perfect” control
  • Logic matters as much as creativity
  • Strong ideas beat polished fluff
  • Direct-response cadence: research → angle → test → learn → refine
  • Small senior team. Direct line to operators. Zero bureaucracy.
THE STATE YOU’RE WALKING INTO
  • Multiple active offers with paid traffic already running
  • Mid-to-high six figures per month in ad spend
  • Copywriters and media/creative team already in place to execute
  • Internal AI tooling already used across the business
  • Large amount of test volume, customer data, and offer feedback to work from

This is not a role where you sit around waiting for inspiration. There is a lot of work, a lot of data, and a lot of room to win.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Must-have:

  • 3+ years in direct-response, performance marketing, creative strategy, paid social, or adjacent conversion-focused work
  • You understand hooks, mechanisms, objections, proof, offer framing, and buyer psychology
  • You can generate specific, testable angles instead of generic content ideas
  • You can explain why an angle should work before it spends
  • You are highly fluent in English
  • You move quickly and think clearly without heavy direction

Strong signals:

  • You’ve worked on info-product, coaching, education, agency-services, trading, SaaS, ecommerce, or high-ticket direct-response offers
  • You have swipe files, hook libraries, angle docs, market notes, and a real ideation process
  • You use AI well, not to replace thinking, but to speed up research, ideation, comparison, and iteration
  • You naturally spot weak positioning, vague claims, and logical contradictions
  • You’ve reviewed funnels, VSLs, landing pages, or sales assets and improved the strategic angle, not just the wording
  • People who’ve worked with you describe you as sharp, fast, and commercially dangerous
WE’RE NOT THE RIGHT FIT FOR
  • Organic social/content-calendar people with no direct-response instincts
  • Brand strategists with no paid acquisition orientation
  • Designers/editors with no angle or concept strategy ability
  • People who generate generic AI-sounding hooks with no market insight behind them
  • Anyone who can’t explain why an angle should work
WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO
  • Generate batches of ad angles, hooks, and concept directions for paid campaigns
  • Research customer pain points, desires, objections, market sophistication, and competitor messaging
  • Break down what’s working in the market and turn it into usable strategic direction
  • Build creative briefs the copywriter and media team can actually execute
  • Review funnels, VSLs, and existing campaigns and identify stronger angle opportunities
  • Help pressure-test claims, positioning, mechanisms, and offer framing
  • Work closely with the media/creative team so concepts are strong before execution starts

BenefitsCOMP & BENEFITS
  • Strong senior-level compensation, geography-adjusted
  • Fully remote
  • High-volume testing environment with real spend behind your work
  • Direct access to operators, offers, performance feedback, and customer data
  • Massive upside if you become truly irreplaceable
APPLY

Short application. Attach (or link):

  1. 3 direct-response ads you wrote that actually ran
  2. 2–3 sentences on your writing process for Facebook ads
  3. A short note on how you use AI in your copy workflow

No cover letter. No resume screening theater. If you look like a fit, you’ll do a 30-min call quickly and a short paid writing assessment after that.
