Lead creative strategy for organic short-form and paid social across TikTok, Instagram, and Meta. Write scripts and briefs, produce high-volume ad variations (30–50/month), iterate from performance data, collaborate with media buyer, and maintain platform trend expertise to turn attention into customers.
You'll own the creative behind everything that brings people to WallStreetQuants — organic short-form on TikTok and Instagram, paid social ads on Meta and TikTok, and the strategy that ties it all together. You're not just making content; you're building the system that turns attention into customers.
What you'll actually do- Own the creative strategy across organic and paid: hooks, angles, formats, narratives, what we test next
- Write scripts and briefs for short-form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and ad creative
- Ship volume: we want 30-50 ad creative variations per month and consistent organic output. Iteration is the job.
- Work closely with our media buyer to read performance data and feed it back into the next round of creative
- Stay deep in the platforms — trends, formats, what's working for adjacent niches, what the algorithm is rewarding this week
RequirementsWhat we're looking for
- A portfolio that shows range: talking-head, voiceover/b-roll, testimonial, meme-edit — not one signature style
- Comfort talking in performance terms (CTR, CPA, ROAS, hook rate, hold rate) and reading ad account data
- You've personally shipped hundreds of ad variations, not dozens
- Strong writing — hooks, scripts, captions. Most creative wins or loses in the first three seconds, and that's writing
- You understand the full funnel: that ad creative interacts with landing page, offer, and audience, and you ask about all three
- Background or genuine interest in markets, trading, quant finance, or technical subjects — you don't need to be a quant, but you should be able to learn this material fast and not make us cringe
- You've built or grown your own creator account
Benefits
- $100-150K compensation
- Full remote, flexible hours, async-first culture
- Real ownership — you're shaping the channel, not executing someone else's brief
