Creative Technologist

• Bachelor's Degree

• A minimum of 2–4 years of progressive experience in technology or digital development roles.

• Demonstrated experience using modern development workflows, including strategic use of generative AI tools, to ship digital products. Evidence of forming opinions about when and how AI accelerates delivery.

• Ability to make sound technical decisions and explain tradeoffs.
• Comfort working across disciplines and adapting to changing requirements.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to balance speed, quality, and clarity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Job Summary

The Creative Technologist owns discrete pieces of client work and translates ideas into working systems. This role partners closely with design, strategy, and engineering to deliver digital solutions using modern tools and workflows.

Creative Technologists are expected to form opinions, make tradeoffs, and prove their thinking through delivery.

• Own features or workstreams from concept through delivery.
• Select appropriate tools and platforms to support project goals.
• Use generative AI strategically across the full delivery lifecycle—research, architecture, prototyping, implementation, and documentation.
• Form opinions on when AI assistance improves outcomes versus when manual approaches are more appropriate.
• Understand AI tool capabilities and limitations well enough to make informed tradeoffs.
• Build workflows that combine AI tools with human judgment to consistently deliver quality work.
• Translate business and experience goals into technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and strategy partners.
• Present work and technical reasoning clearly to teammates and clients.
• Contribute reusable patterns, templates, or internal tools.
