The Credit Analyst is responsible for assessing customer credit position, negotiating past due accounts, customer set-up, and accuracy in billing.  This position will focus on new and existing customer aging, past due, terms and credit limit reviews.  This position will also be responsible for releasing orders for customers going into Hold Validation, Credit Analyst must be able to quickly assess TireHub’s risk to release orders for these customers.

Role Specifics:
  • Reviews and establishes customer accounts to be set-up in our ERP to assure accurate billing.
  • Assists with managing, generating, and monitoring customer data and ensures accurate customer billing.
  • Responsible for enforcement of credit policies, conducting periodic reviews of existing customers’ credit and evaluating the creditworthiness for prospective customers.
  • Oversees the order release for customers entering a Hold Validation status.
  • Evaluates TireHub’s risk before releasing orders to customers.
  • Engages with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination in achieving TireHub’s objectives.
  •  Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules, as assigned.
  •  Complies with all TireHub policies and procedures.
  • Completes other tasks assigned by their supervisor or another member of leadership.

Education/Experience:
  •  Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  •  1+ Years of experience in a Master Data or similar functions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills both written and verbal, to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Understanding of best practices in credit, billing, and collections.
  • Ability to multi-task and achieve customer impacting deadlines in credit, billing, and collections.
  • Ability to interact with customers, and cross functional teams to solve problems and provide guidance.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  •  2+ Years of experience in a Credit Analyst role
  •  Experience with Epicor systems preferred.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • Experience in an industrial and/or warehousing environment.
  Working Conditions:
  •  Most of the time is spent sitting, constantly viewing monitors in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move around. There may be occasions to move or lift light articles.
  •  Must be able to work flexible hours during routinely critical times to include extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required as job duties demand and may include little to no advance notice.

 

This is a Remote Position

Salary range: $ $21.25–$26.54 per hour
