About the Role

Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Credit Officer to join our award-winning team in Archerfield, Brisbane. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role.

As a Credit Officer, you will:

  • Conduct customer account reviews and maintenance for assigned customers along with contacting assigned customers to discuss overdue accounts & follow up regarding overdue outstanding accounts

  • Resolve disputed transactions with customers within target timeframe and engage relevant stakeholders

  • Review and release held orders and approve trading limits within authorised level

  • Complete and return all reports to the Credit Team Leader

  • Respond to customer and stakeholder email and telephone enquiries.

  • Complete administrative activities including banking, processing of refunds, customer account maintenance, credit applications.

About you:

A successful teammate will have experience in:   

  • Previous collection experience working within a complex and diversified organisation

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to form relationships with internal and external customers

  • Work effectively in a team environment, with a willingness to support other team members to achieve required outcomes.

  • An openness to adapting to change.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated experience in analysing and evaluating financial information with strong technical / mathematical background

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
