The Opportunity:

Are you a high-impact CRM Manager who thrives on shaping customer journeys and driving measurable growth? TrueCar is seeking a CRM Manager to lead our customer relationship efforts - with a strong focus on email strategy and execution in an agile, fast-paced environment. 

In this role, you’ll own the strategy, development, implementation, and optimization of our CRM programs that engage consumers at every stage of the funnel.  You’ll craft messaging that connects, converts, and builds long-term loyalty with shoppers and dealer partners. 

How you'll drive TrueCar's success: 

  • Manage CRM strategy across multiple channels, with a primary focus on email, while also spearheading SMS, Push, Direct Mail, and emerging channels.  
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Analytics, Product, Sales, Support, Data, and Engineering to develop consumer-centric and dealer-specific strategies. 
  • Build, develop, and implement cutting-edge campaigns that drive acquisition, deepen engagement, and drive retention, setting TrueCar apart in a competitive marketplace. 
  • Work with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to strategize, implement, and QA automated campaigns
  • Own list management, ensuring database hygiene, deliverability, and steady list growth 
  • Develop segmentation frameworks to deliver relevant, personalized messaging
  • Analyze core KPIs to identify optimization opportunities across campaigns and audience segments, driving strategic decision-making. 
  • Design, test, and refine segmentation strategies, continuously improving the effectiveness of our campaigns.
  • Implement A/B testing, continuously refine our approach, ensuring we maintain the highest levels of engagement and conversion
  • Oversee day-to-day tasks of third-party contractors implementing campaigns.
  • Responsible for CRM operations, configuration, and maintenance of the CRM platform(s) and integrations

Your Expertise:

  • Proven, hands-on experience leading CRM and lifecycle marketing initiatives across email, SMS and/or other channels. 
  • Demonstrated success in driving customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value (LTV) through data-driven strategies. 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Iterable (required) and familiarity with Tealium (preferred) 
  • B2C experience; B2B experience a plus 
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities, ability to decipher complex data, and translate it into actionable strategies, communicated to leadership. Technical fluency in SQL, HTML, and CSS for campaign customization and troubleshooting. 
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate them clearly to leadership. 
  • Deep understanding of email best practices and a passion for crafting strategies that perform. 
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI and automation to enhance efficiency and personalization. 
  • Experience managing vendors and coordinating cross-functional projects.
  • A relentless passion for customer experience and a results-driven mindset

Base salary range: $96,000 - $147,000
