This role sits on our Infrastructure Engineering team, at the intersection of crypto networks, infrastructure, and security. You’ll lead launches of next-gen protocols for our team, harden our systems against real-world threats, and invent tools that push the entire ecosystem forward. It’s hands-on, high-impact work focused on having zero legacy drag — just clean builds, smart peers, and the chance to shape the future of secure crypto infra.
Note: This is a software engineering role first and foremost — not a traditional DevOps or IT infrastructure position. We're looking for folks with a strong development background who are excited to build, not just support, systems.
What You’ll Be DoingLaunch New Networks — Own the end-to-end launch of bleeding-edge crypto networks. You’ll design secure patterns, templates, and tools that scale — from first commit to mainnet.
Secure by Design — Build systems that put security front and center. You'll ship security automation and tools that support resilient participation across networks.
Invent as You Go — Crypto doesn’t come with a playbook. You’ll solve novel, high-impact problems, and create solutions the space will benefit from.
Build with Others — No silos here. You’ll work closely with a tight-knit team of engineers to eliminate single points of failure — technical, operational, or human.
Explore What’s Next — New protocols emerge fast. You’ll keep us ahead by identifying and rolling into the next big use cases in crypto.
Experience running highly-available, public-facing infra — ideally 5 to 7 years.
Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, plus a strong bias for automation, scale, and segmentation.
Strong grasp of security risk, with a track record of designing protections that actually work.
Working knowledge of crypto infra and proof-of-stake protocols.
Languages: Go, TypeScript, Rust
Infra & Ops: Terraform, Ansible, Containers, Prometheus, Grafana
Cloud: GCP, AWS
Networks: Bittensor, Berachain, Cosmos/CometBFT-based chains, and more
