About American Fork Hospital

American Fork Hospital is a nationally recognized community hospital committed to meeting the healthcare needs of the rapidly growing population in North Utah County. We offer state-of-the-art technology, 90 beds, and a medical staff of more than 300 doctors representing 30 specialties. Our services include a fully equipped emergency department and a wide range of quality inpatient and outpatient care.

Position Details
  • Department Location: American Fork Hospital
  • Status: PRN (as needed)
  • Hours: Fluctuating shifts based on department needs
  • Shift Details: PRN – includes evenings, nights, and weekends (shift differentials apply)
  • Pay: $35.25 – $54.39/hour (dependent upon experience)
Job Essentials
  • Ensure proper patient identification, verify orders, and prepare patients for exams
  • Perform exams per department protocol
  • Demonstrate competency in cross-sectional anatomy and positioning
  • Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety protocols
  • Critique own films and complete studies within department time standards
  • Administer oral barium or IV contrast under physician supervision
  • Practice infection control and sterile techniques
  • Provide patient education and ensure comfort
  • Operate CT equipment and related systems to produce quality images
Minimum Qualifications
  • ARRT Radiography Certification/Registration
  • Relevant state licensure (where required)
  • Demonstrated CT proficiency
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARRT CT Certification/Registration
  • 1+ year(s) CT experience

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
