Job Summary:

The Custom Development Developer will work as part of the Custom Development team to estimate and develop custom solutions that enhance our portfolio. You will be partnered with a diverse and dynamic team that uses best-practice methods to build and QA BIRT reports, Business Automations, and Custom Interfaces.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities 
  • Specification

    • Assist the Project Implementation Specialist in scoping custom deliverables that meet customer requirements

    • Provide reliable estimates based on functional specifications

  • Development

    • Produce custom products and new functionality to applications according the specifications provided by Professional Services, within scope, time, and budget

  • Quality Assurance

    • Troubleshoot and correct defects reported by customers and discovered by internal QA testing

    • Peer review code to verify it is up to company standards

  • Leadership

    • Serve as the subject matter expert for custom development

    • Produce Technical Documentation

    • PMO

      • Serve on the PMO Steering Committee

      • Provide best practice recommendations for standardized processes and documentation

    • Provide recommendations for new standardized custom development products (e.g. ABPs)

    • Integrity - ensure that time spent meets bill-ability targets while also maintaining the balance of fairness and customer satisfaction of the client

    • Java

    • BIRT

    • SQL

    • Git

    • Postman
