Provide fast, empathetic customer support for buyers and sellers on a furniture marketplace. Respond to emails, resolve issues, coordinate logistics between buyers and sellers, and relay feedback to Engineering and Operations. Support growth initiatives and perform ad hoc projects, including weekend shifts as needed.

Our customers love us because we take care of all the logistics on their behalf. As a member of the Customer Support Team, you’ll represent AptDeco and be the voice of the brand. You have:
- Strong organizational, analytic, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in a customer service or technical support environment with a strong desire to help people.
- Excellent time management skills and self-motivation. You follow through on tasks and don’t get overwhelmed easily.
- Creative problem solving experience. You have the ability to stay solutions-oriented when presented with a challenge.
- Familiarity with G Suite apps.
- Previous experience working at a startup is a plus.
- Flexibility to work on weekends.
You will:
- Be tasked with supporting our users with fast, efficient service and inspiring a growing user base to share the AptDeco experience.
- Respond to emails and support user issues promptly ensuring that upset users turn into passionate evangelists.
- Coordinate logistics between buyers and sellers.
- Provide feedback to our Engineering and Operations Teams to streamline processes and support in scaling a vibrant business.
- Support in identifying new ways to get the AptDeco experience in front of new users.
- Be responsible for other ad hoc projects that come up during the year.
The base pay range for this role is $20 – $24 per hour.
