Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and accurate assistance, resolving questions and concerns, processing requests, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is patient, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple customer interactions while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone, email, chat, and/or in person.
  • Provide accurate information regarding products, services, orders, accounts, policies, and procedures.
  • Listen carefully to customers to understand their needs, questions, and concerns.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Process orders, returns, exchanges, refunds, payments, account updates, and other customer requests as applicable.
  • Research customer issues and coordinate with other departments to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Escalate complex, sensitive, or unresolved issues to supervisors or the appropriate department.
  • Document customer interactions, requests, complaints, and resolutions accurately in the company's CRM or customer management system.
  • Follow established customer service policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, services, promotions, pricing, and policies.
  • Assist customers with account setup, account maintenance, billing questions, and general troubleshooting when applicable.
  • Follow up with customers when necessary to ensure issues have been resolved and expectations have been met.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and communicate recurring issues or customer feedback to management.
  • Protect confidential customer and company information and follow all applicable privacy and security procedures.
  • Meet established performance standards for response time, customer satisfaction, accuracy, productivity, and quality.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required administrative tasks.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with email, web-based applications, and Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use CRM, ticketing, point-of-sale, scheduling, or other customer management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of customer service experience.
  • Call center or contact center experience.
  • Experience working with CRM or ticketing systems.
  • Experience handling customer complaints and escalations.
  • Experience with order processing, billing, payments, or account management.
  • Knowledge of the company's industry, products, or services.
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills, where applicable.
