Customer Success Chief of Staff
Job Description
We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to join Procore’s Customer Success department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the execution of the overall strategy including how the strategy is measured and managed.
As Chief of Staff, you will directly own and drive the strategic initiatives responsible for delivering on the overarching vision set by the Customer Success organization. You will partner with the Revenue Leadership team and broader Customer Success leadership team to manage the daily, weekly, and quarterly operational cadence, metrics, and initiatives. You are ultimately responsible for the delivery of the key initiatives across the CS organization.
This position reports to the SVP of Customer Success and can be based remotely. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
- Own the multiple key initiatives that drive our CS leadership strategy, including customer journey framework(s)
Ensure alignment across the Revenue Leadership Team (RLT) and the business to integrate the tools and frameworks we require to deliver on our Net Revenue Retention Rate (NRR)
Manage the cohesive rollup of NRR and GRR globally, including Customer Expansion pipeline
Track and manage our up-sell and cross-sell motion, including partnering across the RLT to deliver and manage these initiatives
Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly read-out to Revenue Leadership Team (RLT) including NRR roll-up and update on strategic initiatives
Provide daily updates on stand-ups, weekly updates in writing, and quarterly presentations on the state of the call/progress
Educate and align leaders around the strategic plan and integrate it into performance dashboards
Be the business owner to ensure that our leadership performance dashboards are updated and maintained
Provide alignment and focus on delivering to the leadership team, and align with peers across the greater organization.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of work experience, ideally in management consulting and/or corporate strategy at a leading technology company
Experience in enterprise software/SaaS is highly desirable
Proven track record to own, manage and drive cross-functional projects at an executive level
Expertise in helping set vision and strategy, and ensuring strategy is executed well
Ability to develop deep trust-based relationships across different stakeholders
Sophisticated quantitative aptitude and problem-solving capabilities with an ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects, and a commitment to improvement
Persuasive communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to tailor communications to a broad range of internal and external audiences
