PlayOn is looking for a Customer Support Representative to provide next-level service to the customers of MaxPreps, ensuring that any issues are successfully resolved while requiring the lowest amount of customer effort necessary.  Our Customer Support Representative is a creator of trust – transforming our fans into raving promoters of their experience with MaxPreps.   
 
As a Customer Support Representative, you will be charged with raising the average of the experiences that we give our fans – by role modeling best in class service, tackling issues or frustrations head on as puzzles to solve, and inputting data as efficiently and accurately as possible.  You’ll get to work alongside an extremely passionate and supportive team but also be stretched to explore your own professional growth.    
 
The Outcomes You’ll Deliver  
 
  • Increase our customers’ brand loyalty by providing exceptional service  
  • Decrease resolution time for our customers by diagnosing issues more quickly and efficiently handling tickets.   
  • Decrease in number of different channels a customer needs to touch to resolve an issue 

In this role, you can expect to

  • Answer phones and provide excellent support for any troubleshooting with customers.    
  • Reply to customer service tickets via email for timely resolution.   
  • Enter high school sports rosters, schedules, and scores with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.   
  • Import data through our in-house software.  
  • Utilize MaxPreps live-scoring tools to cover football games on Fridays and Saturdays. 

To thrive in this role, you have

  • Knowledge of the Windows 10 Operating System.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication while being comfortable answering phone calls and responding to support emails.  
  • Strong understanding of fan culture and passion for the entertainment or sports industry.  
  • Must be a high school graduate to apply, college students or graduates preferred.  
  • Experience with Zendesk is a plus.  
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.  
  • Customer Support experience is preferred.
