Experian Cyber Fusion Centre (CFC) is looking for a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTl) All-Source Analyst - Cybercrime Analysis as a part of the All-Source Analyst Team (ASAT), to contribute to our growing team, focusing on cybercrime research (for instance, intelligence platform/ partner alerts, dark web, forums, blogs), which will feed into the Experian Threat Informed Defense model. The Experian All-Source Analysis Team (ASA Team) focuses on a variety of threat intelligence, Strategic and Operational in nature, but dabbling and growing in Tactical Cyber Threat Intelligence is encouraged!

You will create intelligence products that inform cyber threat defense, mitigation, detection, hunting, and response activities. We are dynamic, so we require an analyst whose ideal day includes reviewing alerts from vendor platforms, reviewing and assessing incoming information from intelligence partners, who is creative in connecting events to the overarching threat landscape.

You will report to our Director of Threat Intelligence.

You will need to be in attendance of a daily meeting at 9am EST daily, we are otherwise fine with local hours. This is a remote position.

You Will:

  • Use open and closed source intelligence tools to track threat clusters posing threats to Experian and help identify preventative measures to improve our defense.
  • Contribute to cross-team projects to improve the security posture of Experian infrastructure, such as red team operations, Attack Surface Management and Threat Hunting collaborations.
  • Help Investigate, mitigate, and forecast new cyber trends and provide suggestions to different types of audiences.
  • Author periodic intelligence reports and help produce technical, operational, and strategic intelligence reports.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of prior work experience in cybersecurity or threat intelligence fields.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, with experience explaining technical concepts to different audiences both verbally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with structured analytical techniques and common frameworks such as the Cyber Kill Chain Model, Diamond Model, or MITRE ATT&CK Matrix, applying these methodologies during intelligence gathering and analysis activities.
  • Experience producing repeatable and defensible analysis while being aware of personal biases and limitations.
  • Coding or scripting experience in one or more languages such as Python is a plus.
  • Alternatively, familiarity with Microsoft automation tools such as Power Platform and PowerBI.
  • Experience identifying areas of improvement for the team and providing constructive feedback to coworkers.
