Job Summary: Meriton is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security team. You will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security alerts, ensuring the integrity of our security infrastructure, and mitigating cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Entra ID, SIEM tools, and an EDR, along with a strong understanding of security operations and incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security alerts from SIEM and other monitoring tools, analyze threats, and respond effectively.
  • Investigate and remediate security incidents, working closely with IT and other departments.
  • Maintain and improve security incident response processes and documentation.
  • Stay up to date on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in compliance efforts and audit preparations related to cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 4 years in a Cybersecurity Analyst position.
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including user management and security policies.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, SIEM monitoring, and incident response.
  • Familiarity with network security, firewalls, and endpoint security tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an investigative mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CC are a plus.
  • Experience with other security tools and platforms (e.g., EDR, XDR).
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation via Microsoft Graph for security tasks and reporting is a plus.

The position’s primary office is the Shared Services, Irving, TX office; however, telework or work at home, on the road, or in a satellite location for portions of the workweek may occur, depending upon project needs and requirements in coordination with your direct supervisor and/or most senior leader of your department.
