The Data Analyst III/Sr responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business needs into scalable data models, dashboards, and actionable insights.
- Design, develop, and analyze data solutions that transform raw data into meaningful information to support business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions with a strong focus on usability, performance, and data accuracy.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end users, including conducting office hours, troubleshooting issues, and sharing dashboard and analytics best practices.
- Document solution architecture, data models, technical designs, processes, and development standards.
- Clearly communicate solution designs, analytical findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work independently while collaborating with internal customers and cross-functional teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver project requirements.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 6+ years of experience in dashboard development, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related area.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with TIBCO Spotfire dashboard development and administration.
- Strong SQL experience, including functions, stored procedures, Row-Level Security (RLS), and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC).
- Experience with or working knowledge of technologies such as: Data lakes and modern data architecture, Databricks, Power BI, GitHub, Python, R and Salesforce
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency, accelerate analysis, and streamline technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address moderately complex business and technical challenges.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to evolving technologies, tools, and business requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Oil and gas industry experience is strongly preferred.
Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee.
