At Robyn AI, we’re on a mission to build a more emotionally connected world. We believe in creating products that transform the way people connect and engage. Backed by top investors like M13, Lars Rasmussen (cofounder of Google Maps), and Bill Tai (seed investor in Zoom and Canva), we’ve raised $5.5M to date.

We move fast, value creativity, and are building a team that wants to shape the future of emotionally intelligent AI. If you’re passionate about Gen Z culture, consumer products, and using data to tell stories — we’d love to meet you.

The Internship

We’re looking for a Data Analyst Intern who’s fluent in Gen Z culture and curious about what makes products go viral and stick. This internship is perfect for someone who loves combining data with creativity to drive user growth and delight.

You’ll help us understand user behavior, test growth ideas, and shape product decisions — all while working directly with the founding team.

What You’ll Do
  • Own product analytics tools (e.g. PostHog), events, and dashboards

  • Analyze retention, usage, and growth trends

  • Synthesize feedback into insights and product ideas

  • Run A/B tests, measure conversion, and identify growth levers

  • Report on weekly metrics and support with ad hoc analysis

Who You Are
  • A current college student (or high schooler!)

  • Passionate about consumer apps, social media, and Gen Z digital behavior

  • Analytical and curious — excited to dive into data and connect dots

  • Strong communicator with a knack for turning numbers into stories

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, early-stage environments

Bonus If You...
  • Know basic SQL or Python

  • Have experience with growth or analytics (even small projects)

  • Love apps like TikTok, Duolingo, or BeReal

Why You’ll Love This Internship:
  • Real work: You’ll own key product insights that drive decisions — from user behavior deep dives to growth experiments. You’ll help shape how Robyn evolves, not just sit on the sidelines.

  • Real mentorship: Work directly with our founding team (ex-Google, M13, x.ai) and get hands-on guidance on product, data, and early-stage strategy.

  • Real growth: Learn how to set up analytics tools, run A/B tests, synthesize user feedback, and tell compelling stories with data.

  • Once-in-a-lifetime timing: Robyn is still in its earliest chapters — and you’ll play a part in helping it scale to millions.

  • Career rocket fuel: We offer personal rec letters, the chance to continue into the school year, and real startup cred that stands out.

  • Flexibility: Paid, remote, async-friendly — 8–12 weeks with the option to extend.

This is a paid, remote summer internship (8–12 weeks, async + flexible hours).
