The Data Analyst will provide research support, analyze information sources, produce reports to assist decision making and technical assistance for the client and research recipients.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Public Trust level.
Experience using data analysis and reporting tools/platforms, including Microsoft Office tools, SharePoint, Power BI, MAXQDA, and internal or government-specific databases/platforms such as the CDC DPRP database.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge of the principles, concepts, methods, and techniques of public health research and evaluation to analyze, evaluate and provide expert advice and consultation.
Knowledge of the principles, methods, applications, and state-of-the-art technology in the position's scientific area of responsibility to provide direction and guidance on critical and complex issues.
Ability to perform complex analytical studies (qualitative and quantitative analysis) and interpretation of results to coordinate the evaluation of programs and recommend improvements.
Experience working with implementation-related measures (e.g., reach, fidelity, dose, adaptation) and linking implementation variables to outcomes.
Experience analyzing mixed-methods data (e.g., qualitative and quantitative integration).
Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, to make clear, convincing presentations, explain and justify recommendations, represent the agency, and assigned program or project areas, provide guidance, and advise program administrators and members of the community, respond to inquiries, and interact with high level officials and representatives from public and private public health organizations.
Knowledge of the rules, procedures and principles that govern intramural and extramural program development, monitoring, and evaluation.
Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and SharePoint) efficiently and effectively.
Ability to use and manage Administrative Systems (HUMAN SUBJECTS, OMB AND IRB, and E-Clearance) efficiently and effectively.
Previous experience working with the government procedures and guidelines.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree require, and at least five (3) years of Public Health experience. Experience working in a scientific research setting. Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

The estimated pay range for this role is $87,000 to $120,000, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
