You will be:
  • defining and evolving the target enterprise data platform architecture built on modern cloud and data technologies,
  • driving architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with business goals, security, governance, and scalability requirements,
  • leading architecture reviews and establishing engineering standards, integration patterns, and best practices,
  • designing data models, data products, and governance frameworks to support high-quality, trusted data,
  • collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions,
  • supporting AI and GenAI readiness by shaping the platform for future AI-driven capabilities,
  • mentoring Data Engineers and Platform Engineers through knowledge sharing, design sessions, and technical guidance,
  • advising on platform evolution, performance optimisation, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.

Your profile:
  • strong experience designing and governing enterprise-scale data platforms,
  • hands-on architecture experience with GCP,
  • deep expertise in BigQuery and modern cloud data warehousing,
  • strong practical knowledge of dbt and modern data transformation practices,
  • experience with data modeling, data products, and data platform architecture,
  • experience designing data governance, data quality, and ownership frameworks,
  • understanding of security, compliance, scalability, and platform reliability considerations,
  • experience leading architectural decisions, technical reviews, and solution design sessions,
  • familiarity with AI/ML and GenAI platform-enablement concepts,
  • strong understanding of analytics ecosystems and self-service data platforms,
  • excellent stakeholder management and communication skills,
  • ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions,
  • strong facilitation and workshop leadership experience,
  • mentoring and coaching mindset,
  • strategic thinking combined with pragmatic delivery focus,
  • ability to work effectively in cross-functional and distributed teams,
  • fluent English (at least B2 level).

Work from the European Union region and a valid work permit are required.


Nice to have:
  • experience with large-scale cloud data migrations and modernization programs,
  • experience implementing Data Mesh or domain-oriented data architectures,
  • knowledge of BI/reporting frameworks and KPI governance,
  • experience with platform cost optimization initiatives,
  • familiarity with MLOps, AI platforms, or enterprise GenAI solutions,
  • experience in highly regulated or global enterprise environments,
  • experience working in consulting or advisory roles,
  • experience building architecture communities of practice,
  • previous exposure to change management and organizational enablement initiatives.
