Astreya is looking for skilled Senior Systems Engineer who will design and develop data applications and
integrations for our clients. This hands-on role will have the responsibility of developing, leading, and
overseeing multiple data and integration related technology activities at a time. The candidate will
provide architectural solutions, lead software development teams, perform software development,
build POC, product and tool road maps, partner with multiple application development teams across the
globe to influence business solutions and co-ordinate multiple data and integration projects across the
enterprise.
You will also be part of designing and overseeing the delivery of functional & technical components for
data catalog solutions. You will partner closely with production teams, design and develop dev-ops
solutions and ensure smooth handoffs to sustaining teams and design solutions that are stable, scalable,
and optimized for monitoring as well as participate in support operations
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and maintenance of software and hardware for BI related applications and systems
in Production/DEV/QA.
Provide BI administration in key areas such as Security, Patching, System Utilization/Capacity,
Performance tuning/Optimization, and Issue troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Monitoring of the health and performance of the system and infrastructure.
Maintaining linux server environments both on-Prem and in the cloud.
Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to streamline
code deployment.
Work with development and business teams to resolve issues and maintain a healthy SDLC with
end-to-end solutions.
Manage & Implement solutions around data governance, security, and compliance provided by
the Application provider.
Maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
Qualifications :
Intermediate/Advanced knowledge & experience with SQL, Linux/Shell.
Comfortable with administering a Linux server not limited to patching, user access etc.
Hands-on admin experience on Tableau, MicroStrategy/Strategy reporting tools highly
preferred.
Good understanding of Data Warehousing and Relational database concepts & technologies.
Ability to setup and automate BI platform related activities using scripting languages like
Python/Shell scripting.
Ability to work on building Jenkins pipelines, github actions.
Ability to build/maintain dashboards to capture BI user tracking/logging, usage monitoring and
reporting at an enterprise level.
Ability to build frameworks that can be used for report server upgrade, refresh data
source/report and take regular backup via Rest APIs.
Ability to manage and own complex tasks requiring cross-team coordination
Adhere to Standards and participate in the IT organization's activities to develop new SOPs as
industry standards and best practices evolve.
Administer all aspects of a company's bare-metal/cloud-based applications, including its
comprehensive user access permissions and security.
Strong project and time management skills with an ability to set and maintain multiple, and
often competing priorities.
Good English language skills written & oral
Strong desire to learn and develop additional skills and expertise over time, driving process
evolution.
Self-starter that is highly adaptable, able to thrive in a changing, dynamic environment
Strong understanding of BI technologies and concepts.
Salary Range
$114,000.00 - $180,000.00 USD (Salary)- Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.

Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
