We're looking for a Data Analyst Co-op/Intern to join our team and support the analytics and data operations that power our platform. This is a great opportunity for a student who enjoys digging into data, solving problems, and turning insights into actionable recommendations. You'll work closely with our analytics, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to help collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data.
What you'll do:
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Help clean, prepare, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Build and update dashboards and reports in Looker (training provided).
- Support the team in identifying trends, insights, and performance metrics.
Data Pipeline Support
- Assist with simple data ingestion and transformation tasks using tools like Databricks (SparkSQL, PySpark).
- Help troubleshoot data quality issues and ensure accuracy across datasets.
Visualization & Modeling
- Work with the analytics team to design and improve dashboards used by internal teams.
- Learn best practices around data modeling, visualization, and storytelling with data.
Database Work
- Write and run queries in SQL against PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
- Help organize and maintain data tables used for analysis.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Document data processes, dashboards, and workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business teams to understand data needs.
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Quality, Security & Operations
- Assist with monitoring dashboards and data pipelines for accuracy and reliability.
- Learn how we follow best practices for data privacy and healthcare compliance.
About you:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, Math, or a related field.
- Familiarity with SQL (school projects are great!).
- Basic experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Coursework or projects involving:
- Data analysis
- Statistics
- Python or R
- Databases
- Experience with large datasets or BI dashboards
- Curious and eager to learn new tools and concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communicator who enjoys working with cross-functional teams.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and excited to take ownership of small projects with guidance.
- Interest in healthcare, imaging, or health tech.
