About the Role

We're looking for a freelance AI agent developer or data scientist to help us build a suite of intelligent automation tools across editorial and revenue operations.
You'll be working in a fast-paced digital media environment, turning data pipelines into actionable, Slack-integrated  agents that help a small team move faster and smarter.

This is a hands-on, build-first contract. Most projects are scoped at 5–15 hours each, with a backlog of roughly 18+ agents ready to go.

What You'll Be Building

Across two tracks — editorial intelligence and revenue/ad operations — you'll design and deploy lightweight agents that:

  • Pull and analyze data from sources like Google Ad Manager, Google Search Console, GA4, and third-party APIs (Ahrefs, Reddit, YouTube, SimilarWeb, etc.)
  • Surface anomalies, trends, and performance signals automatically
  • Deliver alerts, reports, and recommendations directly into Slack or Google Sheets
  • Use LLMs (Gemini or equivalent) to generate content briefs, scoring outputs, and editorial angles

Agents range in complexity from simple scheduled data pulls to multi-step pipelines with classifiers, scorers, and  recommendation layers.
You're a Good Fit If You:

  • Have experience building data pipelines and API integrations (REST APIs, Google APIs, Slack API)
  • Are comfortable using LLM APIs (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic) as part of multi-step workflows
  • Can scope and ship quickly — these are lean builds, not enterprise architecture projects
  • Have worked in media, publishing, or SEO/ad tech environments (a bonus, not a requirement)
  • Communicate clearly about what's done, what's blocked, and what trade-offs exist

Tech Stack / APIs You'll Work With

Google Ad Manager · Google Search Console · GA4 · Ahrefs · Reddit API · YouTube Data API · SimilarWeb · Slack API · Google Sheets · Gemini · Claude
