Job Description
- Provide full lifecycle database management support for ACRIMe and CAII systems.
- Develop and maintain database artifacts including entity relationship diagrams (ERD), data dictionaries, and data models using tools like Oracle SQLDeveloper Data Modeler.
- Write PL/SQL and SQL scripts to insert, update, delete, query, and analyze data within Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Perform structural changes to databases to improve performance and resolve defects using Liquibase where appropriate.
- Maintain audit logs and reports for users and transactions, including those involving external entities (e.g., NCIC/Nlets).
- Conduct ad-hoc data queries, data fixes and data analysis as requested by program stakeholders.
- Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly data reports to fulfill contract requirements or as requested by program stakeholders.
- Provide DBA support for Development and Testing environments. Creating and managing user IDs, managing data usage requirements, maintaining data structure and data.
Technical skills
- Strong expertise in Oracle and Oracle tools SQL Developer, SQL Plus, SQL Loader, Import, Export, JOBs
- Strong expertise in Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and Postgres tools PGAdmin, PSQL
- Working knowledge of Liquibase
- Expertise in Excel for reporting purposes
- Familiarity with Python programming language
- Familiarity with Sharepoint
- Must have strong organizational skills
