Who we are.

Solo empowers teams to build and scale their AI infrastructure using cloud-native tech. Most companies have shifted from asking 'How can we make AI useful?' and are instead now asking 'How do we take our AI projects to production?'. A recent MIT study reveals a shocking 95% of GenAI projects never make it there or fail to deliver positive ROI. At Solo, our AI initiatives are helping teams bridge that gap from pilot to production.

With our roots in critical cloud infrastructure (gateways, proxies, service mesh) trusted by Fortune 500s, Solo is uniquely positioned to lead AI's next wave. As a nimble startup, we innovate faster, our engineers contribute to high-impact OSS (we're a top CNCF contributor) and solve real scalability challenges.

Solo is a VC-backed company, founded in 2017 by Idit Levine. In 2021, Solo was valued at $1B. Solo’s customers are some of the largest in the world, spanning all geographies and industries. Solo’s team has deep expertise in Cloud Computing, Linux, Containers, Kubernetes, Service Mesh, APIs, AI, Security, Networking, Microservice Applications and Infrastructure Modernization.

About the role.

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Associate Deal Desk Analyst to join our team. This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is interested in learning how deals move from quote to close in a high-growth startup environment.

As an Associate Deal Desk Analyst, you’ll help support the day-to-day deal process by reviewing opportunities, validating Order Form details, maintaining accurate records, and partnering with teams across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success. You’ll play an important role in helping the business run smoothly while gaining hands-on experience across the deal lifecycle.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys problem-solving, likes working with systems and processes, and takes pride in being thorough and reliable. You do not need deep deal desk experience to succeed in this role. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, comfortable asking questions, and excited to grow in an operations-focused career path.

This is a remote role for applicants based in the US. We are unable to sponsor work visas for this role at this time.

Job Description:

  • Review and validate Salesforce opportunities for accurate product configuration, pricing, and required fields.
  • Approve order forms in Ironclad and ensure all commercial terms, billing details, and legal requirements are accurate prior to signature.
  • Help manage deal close processes by updating records, attaching documentation, and ensuring key steps are completed
  • Send license keys or provisioning details to the appropriate teams/customers post-close.
  • Act as a point of contact for Sales for deal-related questions, policy clarifications, and order-form guidance.
  • Support process documentation and help identify opportunities to make workflows clearer and more efficient
  • Assist with ad hoc projects related to systems, reporting, and cross-functional operations work

Job Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, sales support, finance support, customer operations, business administration, or a related role
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
Ability to partner effectively and collaboratively with Sales and other cross-functional teams.
Comfort working in a dynamic startup environment where priorities may shift quickly.
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks at once
Ability to work independently while also knowing when to ask questions or escalate issues
  • Experience with Salesforce, Ironclad, NetSuite, or similar systems is a plus—but not required if you’re eager to learn.
