Job Description
The Deal Desk Manager will act as a trusted advisor and business liaison to the field sales organization, focusing on maximizing revenue and profitability through the structuring of complex, non-standard deals. This individual will partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product teams to drive large-scale enterprise agreements across multiple geographies.
Key Job Description Responsibilities
Deal Structuring: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to structure and model complex, non-standard enterprise deals, providing alternatives to move deals forward.
  • Sales Partnership: Partner with field sales to provide guidance on pricing, product, and commercial terms.
  • Operational Efficiency: Review and approve deals, serving as an escalation point for non-standard terms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Revenue Accounting, Legal, Pricing, and Product Management to ensure compliance and profitability.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and recommend enhancements for CPQ/CLM systems and deal flow.
  • Contract Review: Analyze contract language to ensure alignment with GAAP and internal revenue recognition policies.

Qualifications
Education: Finance background, Business, or related field; MBA is preferred.
Experience: Generally, 8+ years in deal desk, sales operations, contract negotiation, or finance, preferably within a SaaS environment.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with CPQ | CLM systems. SaaS exposure and deal with complex multi geography and Large Enterprise level Agreements is a must
Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
Legal Knowledge: A strong understanding of contract law principles and legal terminology.
