JOB OVERVIEW

The Deal Desk Specialist I executes quote building, contract processing, client data maintenance, and documentation workflows using Net Health’s Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite systems, ensuring deal accuracy and policy compliance. Working collaboratively with Deal Desk team members and cross-functional partners in Finance, Sales, and Legal, this role processes incoming deal requests while building foundational expertise in core operations. As competency develops, the Specialist I takes on increasingly complex deal scenarios, contributes to process improvement initiatives, and applies strategic problem-solving with greater independence.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Review and process incoming deal requests from Sales using Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite, ensuring quotes, contracts, client data, and documentation are accurate, complete, and aligned with company contracting policies and procedures
  • Proactively engage with Sales and cross-functional departments to clarify deal details and resolve questions as needed to facilitate deal progression
  • Create proposal documents and legal paperwork in Salesforce CPQ for all quotes submitted to Deal Desk
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to support the execution of quotes and contracts within established systems and timelines
  • Provide support and guidance to Deal Desk team members, including researching and clarifying contract-related terms and questions
  • Support departmental projects and initiatives, taking ownership of assigned subtasks and milestones
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow optimization, and automation
  • Build toward recognized expertise in at least one core Deal Desk process area:
    • Quote Building
    • Finance Check
    • Legal Check
    • Cancellations
    • Site Action Requests (SARs)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent professional experience (1-3 years in relevant role such as Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Order Management; healthcare industry experience a plus)
  • Self-directed with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; sound judgment regarding when to seek guidance and escalate issues
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency with computer applications and demonstrated ability to learn enterprise systems such as
    Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management capabilities
  • Collaborative work style with ability to build effective relationships and work seamlessly across matrixed teams and geographically dispersed functions
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines especially during high-volume times or in high-stress environments
  • Process-oriented mindset with interest in identifying workflow improvements

REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

  • Salesforce CPQ or equivalent CRM
  • Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Salary Range: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 USD
