Core Responsibilities
System Ownership & Continuous Improvement
- Demonstrated experience owning and driving ERP system changes while driving added value from our ERP
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Deltek CostPoint ecosystem
- Evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
- Lead and support implementation of system enhancements and configuration changes
- Stay current on Deltek releases and proactively recommend improvements such as Dela AI enablement and use cases
- Partner with Finance and Operations to design and implement improved workflows
- Configure and maintain system modules including project accounting, billing, and reporting
- Lead testing, validation, and rollout of new features and changes
- Support business process re-engineering aligned with ERP capabilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support decision-making
- Ensure data integrity through audits, clean-up efforts, and governance processes
- Assist with financial and operational reporting tied to project performance
User Support & Training
- Provide day-to-day support to end users across operations, accounting, billing, and project teams
- Troubleshoot system issues and partner with IT or Deltek support as needed
- Create and maintain training materials and conduct user training sessions
- Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate into system solutions
- Work closely with accounting teams to improve billing and revenue workflows
- Support integrations and data migrations as needed
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Technical Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience preferred
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, ERP system administration, or enterprise application leadership
- 5+ years of experience of systems or business administration in a Deltek, SAP or Oracle environment
- Working knowledge of data structures, integrations, and SQL
- Strong understanding of business processes within government contracting or other highly regulated industries
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting, billing structures, and revenue workflows within a project-based environment
- Experience with Shop Floor Time, TIP/QA, and/or RFGen
- Deltek Costpoint certifications
- Demonstrated experience supporting DCAA, FAR, and government audit requirements
- Experience leading ERP initiatives, upgrades, or enterprise-wide process transformations
