What you will do

The Demand Planning - Senior Planner is responsible for providing statistical forecast input, analyzing internal capacity, developing plans to align supply and demand, participating in demand review processes, implementing forecasting software, monitoring performance metrics, and making recommendations for forecast improvements:


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the local IBP process and business forecasts for the franchise he/she is responsible for and ensuring the planning processes remains integrated with business processes.
  • Analyze data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive Demand Construction for an aligned Total Market IBP
  • Implement innovative solutions to improve forecasting accuracy and resource allocation
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve planning strategies
  • Develop plans to ensure efficient introduction of new products, SKU phase in/out and product discontinuation as well as SLOB review and deployment.
  • Ensure the business continuity by managing the supply disruptions and demand surges.
  • Analyses & initiates suitable actions based on planning key performance indicators and participate in regular reviews of policies, processes and procedures to achieve continual improvements.
  • Prepare monthly reports within specified time frames and communicate findings to management for forecast cycles and monthly actual closings
  • Assist in the preparation of special studies, reports, and analyses to drive costs & process improvements

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or related role
  • University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a relevant field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identifying patterns, and generate actionable insights
  • Ability to use computer applications as required, including Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Power BI and SAP APO / ERP is a strong advantage
  • Excellent data entry and processing skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Strong team working and relationship building skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in FMCG/retail environment
  • Supply Chain Certifications (APICS, IBF) desirable
  • System experience, including ERP (ECC, APO, SNP)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
  • Proven track record of driving results and implementing creative solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work with management on issue resolution and decision making
