Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an opening for an experienced Deputy Program Manager (Level 5) who will support the Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility, Program customer satisfaction, and operational performance of the Aerostructures portfolio businesses.
In this role, the focus will be on the overall business and operational responsibility for Boeing's Customer Owned Repair business and Aerostructures Exchange Program portfolio of nacelles and flight controls service offerings (ailerons, rudders, spoilers, elevators, and stabilizers).
The selected candidate will work with a team globally located, executing on Key Performance Indicators including but not limited to program revenue, earnings, inventory & cash, program service levels, stakeholder relationship management, and timely & robust cost management. It is imperative to partner with the functions supporting the program to drive operational improvements, cross-functional collaboration, customer satisfaction, and future growth strategy.
Position Responsibilities
  • Business and P&L leadership within our Aerostructures portfolio
  • Lead an Integrated Product Team (IPT) that includes team members across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Contracts, Asset Management, Execution, and Supplier Management
  • Responsible for overall: customer experience and satisfaction, profitability, program execution, supplier performance, and growth
  • Accountable to Business Unit leadership, and engage regularly with key functional leaders
  • Achieve operational, program, and financial measures
  • Creates and guides the development of business and technical strategies and objectives as well as supports growth of new business opportunities
  • Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices
  • Implements customer and program communication and contact plans
  • Support the Program leader in the execution and facilitation of proforma T&Cs, support negotiations for potential customer contracts, and drive compliance with contractual obligations
  • Leads the timely resolution of program issues

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  • 5+ years' experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
  • Direct experience with external entities, either customers or suppliers, addressing challenging situations
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional or integrated program teams
  • Experience with Program Management Best Practices
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power-point
  • Experience in commercial aftermarket aviation services strongly preferred
  • Experience working on Tableau or other data analytic platforms
  • Ability to work and leverage data to generate meaningful insights
  • Operational and supply chain acumen as well as leadership
  • Bachelor's degree or higher

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: 161,500 - 218,500
