Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a proactive, solution-oriented Shred Plant Supervisor to join our Global Secure Shredding team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end oversight of plant production, ensuring that all data destruction processes are executed with a high sense of urgency, safety, and strict regulatory compliance.

You will lead a high-performing frontline team, fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence while managing the fluid daily demands of inbound and outbound logistics.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Drive Production Excellence: Oversee daily shredding operations by calculating Tons Per Labor Hour (TPLH) against available resources, managing equipment cool-downs, and ensuring all material—including manual destruction and specialized media—is processed according to strict timelines.

  • Manage Data & Compliance: Execute precise data entry across multiple platforms including the Order Management System (OMS) and Secure Information (SI7) databases, while conducting rigorous National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) inspections to maintain facility audit readiness.

  • Lead & Develop the Frontline: Facilitate daily "Frontline Focus" huddles, manage employee schedules and timekeeping in Kronos, and monitor the Iron Mountain Learning Management System to ensure the team remains 100% compliant with safety and operational training.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Supervisory Experience: 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.

  • Operational & Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in production tracking software and specialized tools such as Power Industrial Trucks (PIT), along with the ability to manage complex logistics like trailer gate checks and Bill of Lading (BOL) documentation.

  • Commitment to Safety & Quality: Proven ability to maintain a "5S" compliant workspace (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) and a deep understanding of fire safety, emergency-stop protocols, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

  • Dynamic Problem-Solving: The ability to adapt to a fluid environment, clearing mechanical jams and identifying operational barriers in real-time to ensure appointment windows and production metrics are consistently met.

What We Offer (Benefits)
  • Rate: $ 85,500

  • Schedule: Monday- Friday

  • Competitive Compensation and Benefits aligned with your experience.

  • Full Health and Dental Benefits starting on the first day of employment.

  • Paid Time Off: Two Weeks Paid Vacation, Seven Paid Holidays, plus Sick Pay.

  • Financial Wellness: 401(k) with Company Match and an Employee Stock Purchase Program.

  • Professional Growth: Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth, including Tuition Reimbursement.

  • Company-paid essentials like uniforms, safety footwear, masks, and gloves.
