Munson Healthcare is seeking an experienced Billing Coordinator to support dialysis billing operations across multiple centers. This remote position plays a key role in ensuring accurate billing, strong accounts receivable performance, and effective coordination of business office staff.
Job Description- Coordinate daily and month-end dialysis billing activities, audits, and A/R performance
- Train, support, and provide input on performance of billing and clerical staff
- Manage billing for Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and commercial payers
- Maintain billing systems, charge master updates, and reimbursement changes
- Prepare financial and accounts receivable reports and support process improvement
- Work closely with leadership while supporting Munson Healthcare’s Mission, Vision, and Values
- Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 4 years dialysis business office experience may substitute for degree
- Strong knowledge of dialysis billing and insurance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and support office teams
- Proficiency in multiple billing systems and standard office software
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize effectively
Additional Information
Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
