THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Digital Community Strategist (Contractor) to help shape and grow Thrive Market’s online community across TikTok, Reddit, and emerging platforms. You’ll play a key role in developing our community voice, building brand love, and connecting social storytelling across our creator, influencer, and paid ecosystems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and execute Thrive Market’s community strategy across TikTok, Reddit, and other platforms to drive engagement and member growth.
  • Develop and manage a social-first content calendar with activations like challenges, hauls, and creator collaborations.
  • Source, brief, and collaborate with creators to produce native and UGC content that reinforces brand storytelling.
  • Monitor trends, community sentiment, and performance metrics to surface insights and optimize campaigns.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Influencer, Paid Media, Brand, and Creative teams to ensure alignment across all social touchpoints.
  • Support the development of loyalty and ambassador-style initiatives that deepen community connection.
  • Engage directly with members to foster authentic interactions and identify potential advocates.
  • Contribute to planning IRL activations and sampling programs that bring the community experience offline.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3–5 years of experience in social media, community management, or influencer marketing.
  • Deep familiarity with TikTok culture and online communities like Reddit or Discord.
  • Strong creative instincts and a test-and-learn mindset.
  • Experience managing creator partnerships and UGC content programs.
  • Collaborative communicator who thrives working cross-functionally.
  • Passion for wellness, digital storytelling, and community building.
  • (Bonus) You create social content yourself and love experimenting with new platforms.
CONTRACT DETAILS
  • This is a contract position.
  • Length of contract: 3 months - opportunity to extend
  • Work Hours: 40 hours a week
  • Compensation Details: $30-35/hr
